It was the vision of Mr. Madan Paliwal, Chairman of Miraj Group, who wanted to make his native place unique worldwide. He believed his dream came true by constructing the Vishwas Swaroopam.

Designed in collaboration with Maturam Art and Skeleton Consultants and constructed by Shapoorji Pallonji E&C, this massive structure took ten years to complete with the help of 750 skilled workers.

One can witness the grand statue from a distance of 20 Kilometers, making it a true marvel of engineering and art.

3. Statue of Equality, Telangana

The Statue of Social Justice in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, is a 206-ft grand statue dedicated to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, a renowned social reformer widely regarded as the father of the Indian Constitution.

This bronze statue stands at a height of 125 feet and was erected on an 81-foot plinth, totalling 206 feet. It is located on 18 acres of land in the middle of the city, known as Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Smriti Vanam.

This colossal structure is India’s second tallest standing statue and is among the top 40 tallest statues in the world.

Ambedkar Smriti Vanam also features a biographical museum of Dr. B.R Ambedkar, a mini theatre, a convention centre, skylights, fountains, and a library alongside the statue.

5. Statue of B.R Ambedkar, Telangana

Located in the picturesque setting of Hyderabad’s Hussain Sagar Lake, the towering statue of B.R. Ambedkar stands at 175 feet.

It is the second tallest statue of B.R. Ambedkar in India and the third tallest standing statue in the country.

This memorial is spread across 11.8 acres and includes a museum, conference hall and library.

A unique feature of this statue is that it is erected on a 50-ft plinth, a three-storey replica of the Indian Parliament. Giving the statue an overall height of 175 ft

This mighty Hanuman statue stands magnificently on the banks of the Vamsadhara River of the Srikakulam district, AP, overlooking the lush green paddy fields.

The project started with only minor contributions from devotees and villagers, and the foundation stone was laid on 07-07-2007. Despite multiple obstacles, the organizers successfully completed the statue, demonstrating their determination and dedication, even with limited capacity.

Today, the statue holds the record as the tallest statue of Lord Hanuman in India and the world.

7. Panchamukhi Hanuman, Karnataka

The 161 feet Panchamukhi Anjaney Swamy statue in Bidanagere is India’s second tall Hanuman statue.

This mesmerizing gold-hued statue of Lord Hanuman is present in Bidanagere village, situated 70 km from Bangalore, Karnataka.

Moreover, It holds the record as the tallest panchamukha (five-faced) Hanuman statue in India and in the World. This golden masterpiece showcases the talent of sculptors and the spiritual significance of this deity in India.

8. Muthumalai Murugan Statue, Tamilnadu

Lord Murugan is the son of Shiva and Parvati and is a beloved deity in Tamilnadu. Numerous temples and statues of this deity exist across Tamilnadu.

Amongst all of those, the 146 ft Lord Murugan statue at Thirukovil at Ethapur, Salem district, holds the title as the tallest Murugan statue in the world, replacing the 140 ft Pathumalai statue of Murugan in Malaysia.

An interesting fact about this statue is that Natarajan Sridhar, the chairman of Sri Muthumalai Murugan Trust, which built the famous Murugan statue at Batu caves in Malaysia, also built this one. Thiruvarur Thiyagarajan, the same sculptor who sculpted the Murugan statue in Malaysia, also sculpted this one in 2016.
